After downloading and installing the necessary patch cluster for upgrading
to java 1.4.2 our systems (Solaris 8, java upgade not done yet) Now have the
    following errors on boot:

ire_init: no dlureq_mp; writing to socket: Resource temporarily unavailable

    This is then fixed with
"ifconfig hme0 up" , then "route add default "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" (numbers
removed from this message for security)

After this "fix" however, many of the machines lost and created a failing
default route and reset the netmask to an incorrect value.
After fixing those false entries some machines seemed fine, but other upon
reboot went back to the error listed earlier.

Anyone have the same problem or any ideas? I am going to be looking for
days trying to find out which patches may have done this!

If you need further info I can send a full patch list.

    Thanks,
    Jesse
