    Platform: V880z with 2 XVR-4000 graphics boards.
       XVR-100 is console framebuffer.
       Solaris 9 (8/03) -- includes XVR-4000 drivers etc.

After installing 2 XVR-4000 graphics boards into our new V880z
system, the system does not recognize the boards from the 'ok' prompt
    using "show-displays".

Strangely enough it seems to recognize them once booted up but does not
    recognize them as configurable devices:

    # fbconfig -list
      Device-Filename Specific Config Program
      --------------- -----------------------
      /dev/fbs/zulu0 not configurable
      /dev/fbs/zulu0a not configurable
      /dev/fbs/zulu0b not configurable
      /dev/fbs/pfb2 SUNWpfb_config
      /dev/fbs/pfb2a SUNWpfb_config
      /dev/fbs/pfb2b SUNWpfb_config

If I try to do anything with 'fbconfig' I get:

    # fbconfig -dev /dev/fbs/zulu0 -res \?
fbconfig: Not a configurable device. Use -list for valid devices.

I followed the instructions exactly and indeed did (several)
    reconfiguration reboots. Any ideas?

Also, can anyone help me with the /usr/dt/config/Xservers configuration?
The man pages and installation docs are terrible. Specifically, we want
to have the XVR-100 be the main system console, and have four
independent terminals connected to the 2 XVR-4000 boards (supports two
    each).

I would be most grateful if someone could help me with the Xservers
file configuration for this. When I follow the instructions in
"Sun Fire V880z Server and Sun XVR-4000 Graphics Accelerator Installation
and User's Guide" and try something like:

    :0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun \
            -dev /dev/fbs/ifb0 -dev /dev/fbs/zulu0 -dev /dev/fbs/zulu1

I don't even get a console. Of course this seems wrong, I would think
one would need a separate line for each console with entries for :1
etc., but there are NO examples of this anywhere that I can find.

These XVR-4000 boards are brand new. Any help much appreciated!
