Hi Gurus,
I have a library problem. I have compiled a program using Forte on Sun Blade
100 Solaris 8. I am migrating the program to an E220R Solaris 8 with no Forte
compiler installed. When running the program for some reason it is complaining
that it cannot find libiconv.so.2. The funny thing is that neither on the Sun
Blade nor on the E220R this libary is present. On making a truss session I
have found out that on the SUN Blade this library is not even searched, but on
the E220R it is searched and obviously not found.
Question 1: What is this libiconv.so.2 ?
Question 2: Why from one machine it is being called and from the other not?
By the way this library is being tried to be loaded in the begining of
execution
