The XVR-4000 boards weren't being recognized because they
were not seated properly (these were installed by a Sun
engineer, a bit of a novice I think, and definitely new to
    the 4000's, as am I).

I was pointed to the man page for SUNWzulu_config which is
the overlay to the fbconfig interface for these boards.
    Very helpful.

An example for /usr/dt/config/Xservers which works for two
    displays:

    :0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun -dev
                /dev/fbs/zulu0a -dev /dev/fbs/zulu1a

We were hoping to be able to use our two 4000 boards to provide
four independent displays at four terminals. The 4000 boards are
flexible enough to do this, but the problem now is how to make
them interactive, eg. provide each with a keyboard/mouse? Our
Sun engineer is looking into whether this is possible, has anyone
    configured their V880 this way?

    Thanks to:

Extra special thanks to the following folks for being so kind as
to let me know that they are out of the office:

    mattm@mail.citystamp.com
    Wood, Lawrence N
    Manohar@yodlee.com
    Ballesteros, Dave D
    Beedy, Cheryl
    Morrissey John-jmorri01
    Jason.Shatzkamer@cexp.com
    Antti Toivonen
    John Hilger

It was my understanding that people who can't configure their
autoresponders correctly were supposed to get bounced from the
list. It seems like this situation is getting worse...I always
get more Out-of-Office replies than actual answers lately, and
    that's pretty sad.
