Diskset questions

Hello,
I have a 2 host cluster (2 x 280R) with a shared D2 Storedge disk array.
Both hosts see it as a diskset because of the clustered configuration.
The diskset is made up of a 2 disk stripe and a mirror of this 2 disk
stripe.
If I were to bring both hosts down, then reboot one host in non-cluster
mode, would this host still see the stripe, or would I have to have to
build the metadevice again? i'm just making sure I can still have access
to the data on these disks as a disaster backup since we're undoing the
cluster and redeploying both hosts.
