    "ndd -get /dev/<interface-name> link_speed" should give you a 0 or a 1

    0 = 10mb
    1 = 100mb

    eg.
    ndd -get /dev/hme link_speed
    1

    Subject: Network card Speed

    Hi,

    Is there a way to find out the speed of a network card other than from
    /var/adm/messages. I normally grep for "link up" in messages file. But now
    I don't have messages files. Please reply back if anyone knows....

    Thanks in advance
    Shahul Hameed
