    Dear All,

I have a Solaris 5.7 machine SPARC. I had been running
3 applications (in addition to the normal process
running in the system) which was occupying 20 to 30 %
of CPU. At that instance I had 2 CPU with 2 GB RAM.

Since I had to run one more application, I increased
the CPU to 3 and RAM to 3GB. At present I am running 4
aplications; resulting in a drastic rise in the CPU.
At present the CPU is 85%. I am surprised, on adding
an additional CPU should reduce the load but here it
is increased. Is there any settings in the OS; to be
chnaged if I add on the RAM or the CPU. Please do let
    me know.

    Thanks
    Girish
