Mixing different CPU speed in Sun fire

Hi.

If different clock CPUs are installed in one domain of Sun fire 3800/4800
(ie. Mixing 900MHz and 1.05GHz US III+ CPUs) will each CPUs run at their
own clock speed? or adjusted to lower CPU?
I need some "real" experiense.
