    Sunmanagers,

    Apologies for the delayed summary. A spell of 40 degree celsius weather and
    some power restrictions delayed the insallation of the replacement power
    supply.

    The Power Supply has been replaced (under warranty) and we have had 72 hours
    of PS1 error free bliss.

    If the box is running Solaris 8 or Solaris 9, add the 'logging' option
    to all ufs lines in /etc/vfstab, like this:

    G'day,

    My system administrator is overseas on annual leave and I'm struggling with
    a few issues on my SunFire 280r that are really outside my comfort zone.

    The system has crashed several times during the last week. Some of the
    following messages have been occuring prior to the crashes:

    Feb 3 23:24:51 sesame picld[54]: [ID 961923 daemon.error] WARNING: Device
    PS1 failure detected by sensor PS1_FAULT_SENSOR
    Feb 9 10:14:24 sesame picld[54]: [ID 961923 daemon.error] WARNING: Device
    PS0 failure detected by sensor PS0_FAULT_SENSOR
    Feb 9 10:21:25 sesame picld[54]: [ID 449286 daemon.error] Device PS0 OK

    When the system does crash fsck -F ufs /dev/rdsk/c1t0/d0/s0 is required to
    correct the / filesystem.

    Also the message

    CPU seeprom format: 0000.0000.0000.0002

    was reported after the last crash.

    I have also run SUNvts.... which checks out OK except for the env5test

    While I have reviewed some of the online documentation my limited systems
    experience is preventing me from finding a solution to this problem on my
    own.

    Any suggestions for the next steps or description of what exactly the error
    messages are referring too would be greatly appreciated.

    FYI I have also included additonal information about system and a more
    detailed summary of the the system messages
