A couple of weeks ago, I posted a summary that
supposedly solves the problem of getting
interrupt level 4 not serviced
messages on a sun V1280. Two days after I posted,
I saw more messages. In addition, I saw a mes-
sage that esp_use_poll_loop was not a valid kernel
variable at boot time. The boot message is understand-
able as the 1280 does not have an esp SCSI controller.
I later found that the patch 113751-05, fixes the prob-
lem. It has been five days since applying the update
and still no messages. It is an update to the V1280's
firmware and not a Solaris patch.
