    Hi managers,
    I currently have CDE running through VNC on a solaris 8 server. An
    application
    we run requires that we have a valid CDE X-windows session running at all
    times for this purpose. The current setup runs fine, but once a month the
    session automatically logs itself out and returns to the dlogin screen. This
    requires that one of the operators here manually connect to the VNC server
    and
    log back in, so that the X-Windows session can proceed again. I think this
    happens because of the lack of activity on the DTsession throughout the month
    period.

    Is there a timeout variable than can be set to avoid this from happening? I
    have done a lot of searching on this issue to no avail.

    Has anyone got around this problem?
