NTP Client Configuration

    Dear Guru's

    I would like to create NTP client on my sun box running Solaris 8. I have
    already copied ntp.client as ntp.conf and added the IP address of the NTP
    server which is running on cisco router. I also started xntpd daemon. But
    the time sync is not taking place. Is there any thing else i to configure
    or can i do it thru command like ntpdate, can i know what options i have
    to use for this command.
