hard disks(compatible!!!)/Thanks a lot

    Thank You everyone who helped me with my request earlier.Appreciate your help..
    I have an odd problem and am unable to figure where I am going wrong...
     
    I have 4 Fujitsu /2 seagate / 8 IBM hard drives. (For the 4+8 slots and 2 spare)
    All fujitsu seem to work always good...
    Now there is some problem with the rest...
    When I mix and and match them {{()))))}} (I figured this accidenatally)
    While in a combination 9 hard drives are visible in format and probe-scsi -all
    In other combinations upto a max of 11 are visible....
    Never did it reach 12...So I am wondering ...whats the logic behind this... some showing up and some not...and the same not showing up when combined differently...
    Are they compatible...........(Nothing to do with the marriage licences in SFO)
