    SunFire4800: Ping Problem
Solution: Fixing the related LAN port.
It was nothing to do with myserver's setupdomain or setupplatform.

    Subject: SunFire4800: Ping Problem

    Dear SunManagers,

I got a connection problem between my server and its workstation.
Both machines are connected to the same hub as follow:
    Servername's SC0 is connected
    Servername's SC1 is not connected
    Workstation is connected

Problem: my workstation can do a ping to SC0, but not to my server.
    Any idea why?
I have tried to change loghost for domain from "empty value" to "IP Address
    of ServerName", but still failed.

Thanks a lot for your kind help.
