    To all -

We have Sendmail version 8.12.9 on a Solaris box and we have an issue
with the incoming email address domain being changed. For example, we have
server "mail1.pc.com" which receives an email destined to "joe@pc.com".
The server "mail1" is configured to send emails to the firewall called
"fw.pc.com" which then sends the email in to the Sendmail server called
"mail2.pc.com". The user logs into "mail2" to read and send emails. The
problem is that the Sendmail server called "mail1" changes the "To:" email
address from "joe@pc.com" to "joe@fw.pc.com". The email gets delivered but
it is confusing in the log files and to management.

How can I configure Sendmail to not change the inbound email "To:"
address ?? Where in the "sendmail.cf" or the "sendmail.mc" is this
controlled ?? I read through the contents of the "www.sendmail.org/faq"
but could not find an answer.

          Thanks for any help.

    Andy A.
