I was wondering if anybody has been using Tivoli to track patches?
Basically, what we're going to be doing is installing patches from the Sun
recommended patch cluster, and use Tivoli to ensure the patches have been
installed. We supply the file name and file size to Tivoli and Tivoli is
supposed to go to the various servers to verify the file name (or names) and
associated file size. The problem is with the recommended patch cluster,
it's a one-size-fits-all solution. We need to supply Tivoli with one or
more unique file names to check. Does anybody have a tool that can supply
the unique file names we're looking for? Thanks for any help!
