Dear Guru,
I want to run explorer on the server & cature the output ...
the procedure to install the package,
#cp SUNWexplo.tar.Z /var/tmp
#cd to /var/tmp
#uncompress SUNWexplo.tar.Z
>tar xvf SUNWexplo.tar
or, if I have gzip installed,
#zcat SUNWexplo.tar.Z | tar xvf -
This will extract the contents of the archive into a directory called
SUNWexplo located in the current directory.
As root,
#pkgadd -d . SUNWexplo
This is enough to capture the output..Is it will creat a output file or I
have to rediirected the output on afile ..
like,
#pkgadd -d . SUNWexplo > file name..???
I'd really appreciate some guidance.
Regard's
Anamika.
