SUMMARY: Diff SCSI Controller in Sun Fire 280R

    Thanks to all who replied especially

    >From whom I got the hint what to check for. Finally I figured it out.
    The problem was Active termination Jumper on the Diff controller card
    (SYMBIOS LOGIC - SYM 22802) was on (enabled). Disabled (Off) it and it
    started working.

    Hi Gurus,

    I have Sun Fire 280R Box where I have connected A1000 with PCI Diff SCSI
    Controller in slot PCI2 and am getting following error messages while
    booting:

    And sits there forever.

    WARNING: /pci@8,700000/scsi@3,1 (glm3):

            Connected command timeout for Target 3.0

    WARNING: /pci@8,700000/scsi@3,1 (glm3):

            Target 3 reducing sync. transfer rate

    WARNING: /pci@8,700000/scsi@3,1 (glm3):

            got SCSI bus reset

    WARNING: /pci@8,700000/scsi@3,1 (glm3):

            Connected command timeout for Target 3.0

    WARNING: /pci@8,700000/scsi@3,1 (glm3):

            got SCSI bus reset

    The same A1000 I connect to E 3500 works fine where we have S-BUS Diff
    SCSI controller.

    The PCI Diff SCSI controller is new.

    Any Help will be greatly appreciated.
