nis+ error

    hello Admins,
     
    I am receiving errors in daemon.log
    May 31 08:18:48 sd1 nisd[29848]: [ID 357067 daemon.warning] Couldn't fork a process!
     
    Pl find ps -el output.
    ps -el
     8 S 0 29883 1 0 53 24 ? 585 ? ? 1:09 rpc.nisp
     8 O 0 29848 1 46 99 20 ? 99311 ? 12518:13 rpc.nisd
     
    Problem:
    I am not able to query the nis table with niscat -M option..
     
    Soln PLease ???
