       Hi sysadmins,

I have to recover the partitions of a disk, normally in a Netra
(Sparc) box, that got its partitions wiped "accidentally". The "backup"
    operation of format doesn't help.

Is there in existance any tool to do this automatically? I found a
very nice one called TestDisk, but unfortunately it only knows about
PC-type partition tables and boot sectors. It did find a Debian
partition that the drive had, but failed to recognize the Solaris ones.

If it has to be done by hand, does anybody know where to find specs
for the Solaris partition table? Any other hint about tools to use or
advice will be very welcome as well.

       Many thanks, will summarize.
