    Hi,

    I have a 3rd party raid box attached to controllers c4 and c5 on an E250
    running Solaris 9. When I list the controllers via vxdmpadm, I see:

    bash-2.05# vxdmpadm listctlr all
    CTLR-NAME ENCLR-TYPE STATE ENCLR-NAME
    =====================================================
    c0 OTHER_DISKS ENABLED OTHER_DISKS
    c4 OTHER_DISKS DISABLED OTHER_DISKS
    c5 OTHER_DISKS DISABLED OTHER_DISKS

    If I try and enable controllers 4 and 5, I get:

    bash-2.05# vxdmpadm enable ctlr=c4
    vxvm:vxdmpadm: ERROR: Attempt to enable a controller that is not available.
    Check hardware to analyze the problem.
    bash-2.05# vxdmpadm enable ctlr=c5
    vxvm:vxdmpadm: ERROR: Attempt to enable a controller that is not available.
    Check hardware to analyze the problem.

    But the disks attached to those devices are mounted and accessible
    so I'm not sure why it is complaining.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
