Hi everyone,
I have to backup a set of 4 servers with Solaris (7 & 9) on a tape located
on one of these server (Solaris 9).
Presently, I am using a remote ufsdump by enabling rsh on the tape server
for the time of the backup (this server has a /.rhosts file) and disabling
it after.
The problem I am facing is that I have to manually start the backup script
from each client server one after another, waiting for one backup to
complete before starting the other.
Backups are only done 1 time a month, but I am searching for a way to backup
them more regulary and automatically.
I don't want to use rsh (we are using ssh).
I don't want a solution for what I will need to buy software or license.
Any idea ?
Thanks
- Francois
