E450 some internal drives not showing up

    To add to this I should have let everyone know that I have already done
    the following,

    reboot -- -rv
    probe-scsi-all
    devfsadm
    No slamming or damaging of the drives has occurred.

    Hi,

    I have an E450 with 12 drives the bottom 8 drives show up just fine the
    last 3 don't show up at all (the drives are brand new). I have done some
    research and found that there is a problem with the 4 port backplane but
    this box doesn't have one. I have inserted the drives extra hard and they
    all light up and spin up however they (the last 3 drives) still wont show
    up.
