SCSI: Connected command timeout / got SCSI bus reset

SunBlade 150 : Solaris 8 : UltraSCSI adapter X6540A
On bootup I'm getting the following messages, *whether or not* I
have two SCSI devices connected to the UltraSCSI adapter. I'm
thinking this looks like an adapter failure, but wanted to get
other opinions. The summaries I found in the archives all involved
drive problems, bad superblocks, cable/terminator problems, etc..

On boot it cycles through targets 0 - 15, then finally boots up
after an hour or so.
