Solaris semaphores

    OK, so I've recieved a couple of emails saying "if you figure that out, let me know" (basically), but none with hints/advice/etc.

    So, I'll narrow the scope - anyone know where I can get /any/ more info about a semaphore than just ipcs? Even if you know it won't have info about the application or uid that requested the semaphore, it might be helpful.

    On that note - semaphores make keys based on how the application itself was started that is requesting the semaphore, and based on the uid the app is running off of. Is there anyway to un-construct that key itself, and get the info from it?
