hi all,I have a client which wld like to mount a shared directory from
the server as foll: On Server #vi /etc/dfs/dfstabshare -F nfs -o rw /etc
#/etc/init.d/nfs.server start On Client #mkdir /test#mount
server:/etc /test #cd /test#cd etc#vi passwd --> wld this operation be
allowed,what wld the permmission of the file /test/etc/passwd & who wld
the owner of this file on client.... if this operation is not allowed
then under what circumstances wld modification of passwd file be allowed
on a client which has exported this file from master. forgive me for this
question i am asking this as i dont hav a m/c with me for testin.. n i
hav to implement an nfs environ for a client who has raised these doubts.
