    Dear Sun Managers,

Does anyone have experience of comparing Solaris with Linux for large
    database
mission critical applications ? Any good or bad experiences either way
    ?

A lot is written about performance, stability, total cost of ownership,
    relibaility etc.

    Thank you for your help.

    Best Regards

    Rosemary
