    Hi

We have a sun server as the DR site but I only have access ftp access to
the server. If I try to telnet or ssh the session times out. I believe
this must be firewall related. The firewall people need the mac address
    of the server to

Trace the problem. If I do a snoop on the ftp to the server I can get
the mac of the current box and then the destination mac is not the
server mac but the mac of the firewall at the DR site. My Question. Is
there a way that I can

execute a command in a ftp session, or break into a shell from a ftp
    session?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    Johnny
