Faster FTP

    All:

    FTP rates between my two sunfire480(sol9) boxes is running at 33MB/sec.

    I can drag and drop to/from the same boxes and a G5 apple at 52MB/s so I
    know I should be able to get a faster ftp rate.

    What do I need to do? ndd settings, try a different s/w package, etc?
    Is there a vsftpd for Solaris?

    ((I'm running through an Extreme core switch. I have stripped 2g/s fibre
    channel arrays on the back end of each 480 which run through the latest
    Veritas FS.))
