Hello Gurus
I have systems comprising Windows 2000, Linux and Solaris 8. The Backup Media
is attached to the Windows 2000 server. My question is now I have to take the
Backup even for Linux as well as Solaris boxes. My questions are:
1) Can I make Windows 2000 ( tape drive is attached to this) as the Master and
other Unix Systems as Client? if so then what is the Backup software used.
2) I want to go for cost effective backup solutions. Can anyone tell me which
is the best backup freeware for both Windows as well as Unix.
I appreciate if anyone can suggest me some good and easy to configure backup
solution for cross platforms.
Thanks,
Vani
