    Hello fellow sunmanagers,

I have a question regarding application support on Solaris 9 with a Netra
    440. If this is the wrong forum for application development type of
questions please advise and accept my apologies.

    >From what I have been able to determine so far, Solaris 9 does not come
installed with a C++ compiler and in particular any of the Threads
libraries. If this is need, it would have to be purchased and installed
    separately.

Would you confirm my current understanding of this.

    Thank you,
    Brent
