After checking the FAQ (and a few other places) I'm stuck. Hope someone
can throw some light on this for me. thanks.

We installed a fresh copy of Solaris 9 on a v480 with a FC QL2300
    option installed in the box.
We installed the patch kit "SAN_4.4.2_install_it.tar"
Connected to this card is an HP MLS6000 tape lib with 2 LTO drives.
We can see the FC-SCSI router, both tape drives and the changer when
probe-scsi-all is issued from the open firmware.
dmesg sees both tape drives and the router
    /dev/mnt is populated
The tape backup software we use "NetVault by Bakbone", sees the tape
    drives but not the loader.

My question is where would (should) the loader device be created? And
how could I confirm the OS sees it?

    thanks for your time,
    greg
