Need feedback on possible SAN implementation

    We're looking at a possible SAN solution and I'd like some feedback (either way).
    Initially we are going to use it as a backup solution (veritas) but eventually would
    like to have our Oracle 9i / Peoplesoft servers using it for data storage. The hosts
    would be a mixed Intel (windows) and Sparc (E4500 & solaris 8) environment. The sparcs
    are the Oracle/peoplesoft servers and the windows boxes SQL etc.

    EMC Clariion Cx300
    EMC NS500 NAS head
    Cisco MDS 9120 20 port Switch

    We'll be using SATA drives for the backups initially.
    Meeting with EMC this week so if anyone out there has implemented a EMC Clariion gear
    into their shop I'd appreciate any feedback and also any questions I can ask their engineers
    that perhaps you wish you'd have asked when you all did your eval.
