Hello admins
I'm stuck ... any hint?
I have two Sun Fire V100, seriall interface on one system is working as
expected the other looks mysterious.
system a)
- ttya: console port (no problem at all)
- ttyb: modem port (used by kermit), no problem at all
system b)
- ttya: console port (no problem at all)
- ttyb: modem port (used by kermit), flickering signals DTR & TD
never used before, can't reboot right now because it is a
productive system
I also have used the same cable on system b) as on system a) but no
difference! The OS looks also similar. How can I debug this second
serial port? What's the reason for this flickering Ports even there
is nothing connected except a RS232 serial breakout box for checking
state of the lines (this port ttyb is not used for login)?
Best regards
