    Hi ALL,
I am running a process on Solaris 8 which is used for messaging.

The problem is that after 7 days this process loses its functionality and demands a kill and a restart.
Can someone advise what could be stopping this process from running and let me know which resource could be a problem.

My ulimit for the users are set correctly:
    bash-2.03$ ulimit -a
    core file size (blocks) unlimited
    data seg size (kbytes) unlimited
    file size (blocks) unlimited
    open files 1024
    pipe size (512 bytes) 10
    stack size (kbytes) 8192
    cpu time (seconds) unlimited
    max user processes 29995
    virtual memory (kbytes) unlimited

    Thanks
    Chandan
