apache+php+mysql installation problem

    hello all,

    I wanted to install apache with php and mysql.

    have installed mysql and it is 64 bit application.
    when i try to install php version 4.3.9 with mysql in configure
    I get the following error..

    wrong ELF class shows that there is some 32 bit and 64 bit mismatch.

    does this mean that gcc is 32 bit application or should I have to
    reinstall perl as a 64 bit application.

    please guide me.
