    Hello,

We plan to migrate Netscape Directory Server V4.1 from an AIX to a Sun Solaris 9 box. I have Sun One Directory V5.2 installed and configured on the Solaris host. The migration must be transparent to all users, i.e., account password must be preserved.

My plan is to configure the Solaris box as a "consumer", initiate "consumer replica" from AIX/Netscape server, and then shutdown the Netscape Directory Server from AIX. Is it a correct path? Where can I find a step-by-step guide
    for this task?

Another related issue: We do not have Netscape Console Administrator's password... I modify file /netscape/server/admin-serv/admpw, delete the
encrypted password. When I log into Netscape Console (without entering password), the Console window shows up. I click the domain icon (under Console), I am expecting "Administration Server" and "Directory Server" icons to show up, but nothing happens.

Thanks in advance and have a good weekend,
    Warren
