SUN Server does not response to any ping or telnet.

    Hi Experts,

    My SUN V880 server running Solaris 8, running NIS stopped responding
    to any network query. I can not ping or telnet the machine.

    I ran the sys-unconfig utility a day ago and configured back
    everything. Can anyone guide me on this one. My eri0 interface shows
    correct IP address, subnet mask and broadcast address.

    Can any give me some hints on how to get my machine back on the network ?
    Any help will be appreciated
