Veritas disk recovery

Hi fellow Sun Managers

I am now entering unchartered territory as I have a disk error on an E450
who's disks are under Veritas Volume Manager.
Essentially I need a few pointers as to where I might slip up when replacing
the suspect disk. Here are the details...
      * Disk03 is missing completely from the rootdg group.
      * The light by the disk is flashing green but I'm not sure what
        this is indicating to me! I am looking on the sunsolve site for
        more info on this.
      * Also, are the disks on an E450 hot swappable or will the system
        require some down time?

Also, from vxdiskadm I can also see an error on c0t0d0 on the same box.
Is this something I should be concerned about?
