    Greetings, all,
I am trying to setup authentication using rsh between two servers running Solaris 9. On host A I have entries for rsh in /etc/inetd.conf as follows:
shell stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/in.rshd in.rshd
    shell stream tcp6 nowait root /usr/sbin/in.rshd in.rshd

    # cat /.rhosts
    +

    on host B
When I try rsh hosta date
    it is saying permission denied

Is there anything I am missing?

    Thanks in advance
