    Hi Admins,

I have been testing Solaris 10 for a few weeks now and
can not get the man pages to work how I understand
    they should.

    Example:
/usr/sfw/share/man/man4 contains a man page for
    smbpasswd.4

/usr/sfw/share/man is part of my MANPATH, I created
the windex in /usr/sfw/share/man, and man -M
/usr/Sfw/share/man smbpasswd works fine. The problem
is, when I issue the command: man smbpasswd, I get the
error: No manual entry for smbpasswd.

This problem exists for every man page that doesn't
exist in the standard man path: /usr/share/man

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    -Joe
