SYN flood attack problem

    Dear Gurus
     
    I have faced a problem with my Sparc machine which is:
     
    High TCP connect timeout rate! System (port 25) may be under
    a SYN flood attack!
     
    and the system will not respond. when i rebooted the system it starts working and after a while it will be down.
     
    please help me what will be the cause and how i can solve this problem.
