One of our unix servers (usentp - printer server) /var/adm/messages is
filled up with the following messages. It is filling up the
/var/adm/messages by writing this message every minute
Dec 28 03:15:54 usentp bsd-gw[17098]: [ID 937800 lpr.error] request to
lsonprntr (unknown printer) from usprdent
Dec 28 03:16:54 usentp bsd-gw[17098]: [ID 937800 lpr.error] request to
lsonprntr (unknown printer) from usprdent
We haven't configured this printer on the new unix server (print server) and
noone should be using this printer. So, how do I check where it is coming
from? How should I stop Unix to log this message?
