    Hi gurus,

I was wondering if the is a couple of commands or a simple script
that could count the number of events per hour from a text file I have which
just contains the times themselves. Some how I need to see how many events
    are happening per hour.

Heres the start of the txt file for example (which carries on for 24hrs) :

Trouble is if a wc -l count for 07, in the hour column, 07 could be in the
min or second column as well.
