Hi all, am trying to configure the messaging server component from the
overall java enterprise server. the cal and dir server are up and
running fine, but when i go to conigure the mail i get an error message
stating that "suncalendar is not a valid hostname, make sure that your
    dns is working"

    uname -a
    SunOS suncalendar 5.10 Generic i86pc i386 i86pc

    cat /etc/hosts

    #
    # Internet host table
    #
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    10.20.2.217 suncalendar suncalendar.tbwachiat.com

    cat /etc/hosname. (interface)
    suncalendar

i came across this issue once before but do not remember how i corrected it.

    thanx

    Will summarize for the group
