I have an original 400 MHz Netra X1 with 512 MB RAM installed from 4
sticks of 128 MB each.
I would like to upgrade to the maximum. From what I understand, the
original 400 MHz model can only access 1 GB or less and/or it can only
use sticks that are 256 MB or less. So I guess I will buy 4 sicks of
256 MB each. But I don't know what kind of memory I need. Will any
PC133 do? Do I need registered memory? Do I need ECC? SunSolve and
Docs doesn't have any memory details that I can find. Crucial.com
wants to sell me their most expensive flavor of PC133.
So... what kind of memory do I need? I can buy 256 MB sticks of 32M x
64 PC133 for $32 each from "V-Data" or I can buy the specific memory
Crucial recommends for $92 each...
