I am having some problems during installation of
Solaris 10, build 74 (Solaris Java desktop version 3:
On my Ultra 5 with 256 mb of memory; I was able to
load Solaris OK, however I am unable to add remote
PC printer to it. When I clicked
Launch->Preference->System Preferences->Add printer;
nothing came up but I see
the system ran Solaris-printmgr-wrapper in the
background
but the GUI never came up.
I was able to add remote printer to my Sunfire V40Z
server (running Solaris X86 build 74 with no problem)
Does anybody know the command line to add a remote pc
printer to a Solaris 10 desktop?
Also, does anybody know how to set up so that one can
mount NFS from a remote PC server and vice versa?
I want to mount a PC directory to my Solaris desktop
What do I need?
Also, I forgot to add the Language software CD to
my desktop. How do I uninstall them? (Korean, Japanese
language packages).
Many thanks in advance
TM
