    Gurus,

Some of your elequent assistance required on a NIS problem.

I have a working NIS environment using passwd, groups and aliases, but I
now need to set up netgroups to confine my users.
Having set up the netgroup file, and done a make on it, and made sure
that the nsswitch.conf file is set, I can't get netgroup to do what it
    is supposed to do.
I have searched the net for some clues, and found a few differing
    implementations of the netgroup file.
Any ideas as to why this does not work as per the manual.?
Sorry if I can't give more info, but I am stuick at a point.
    Using Solaris 5.9/5.8/ Hp_UX 11i

    Regards
