    Hi All,

I was kind of troubleshooting a SUN VXVM problem on Solaris 9 and
mistakenly destroyed the metadb for the root volume.

Now I am not able to re-edit the vfstab file to boot it of the raw
device (/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s0) as it prompts me to run fsck on the boot
slice. After running fsck, when I try to boot it off manually from
maintenance or single user mode using bootable cdrom, I still get
    following error:

    "# mount -o remount,rw /
mount: the state of /dev/md/dsk/d0 is not okay
and it was attempted to be mounted read/write
mount: Please run fsck and try again"

An early help will be highly appreciated.

Following is the boot log from the screen:
