Hi,
i have encasulated my boot disk and mirrored the boot disk. Now in case of boot disk failure the method given in the docs is that first we have to boot from the cdrom and copy the orignal /etc/system & /etc/vfstab file and disable the vxvm.
My question is that why we have to boot the system without vxvm while we have mirrored the boot disk ,can't we boot the system with the mirrored disk.
please help me understanding this issue.
thanks in advance
deepti
